During medical school, Meredith continued to work as a psychotherapist with children and teenagers. She completed research regarding the overlap between IBD and mental health disorders and regarding early advanced care planning in patients with glioblastoma. She completed the medical education pathway, teaching students abroad in Krakow, Poland and at UR Medicine. She also completed the medical humanities pathway and engaged in research regarding novel, palliative approaches to treating severe, enduring anorexia nervosa.
Upon graduation Meredith was selected for AOA, received the 2025 AMWA Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement, and the 2025 Award for Research in Psychiatry. Meredith is thrilled to train at Brown’s triple board program and hopes to use her ongoing training coupled with her background in clinical psychology, particularly in dialectical behavior therapy, to work with children and adolescents who have complex and overlapping psychiatric and medical needs. Outside of medicine, Meredith loves spending time with her husband, two children, and large, extended family. She loves to run, bike, hike, picnic, read, and spend plenty of time swimming at the beautiful Rhode Island beaches.
